The selection of NOA 2011 Optometrist of the year was not only an honor but affirmed
my feeling of appreciation from peers in the NOA family . My only regret is that my dad,
the late Robert Johnson was not physically here to witness this blessing. I, like him find
reward in representing optometry and in servicing patients. I plan as NOA President-
Elect to represent optometry well as I continue NOA's mission of "Advancing the Visual
Health of Minority Populations"
Stephanie Johnson-Brown,O.D.,M.Ed.
Dr. Johnson-Brown was recently featured on WGN News Chicago's Very OWN. In case
you missed it, click here.
She was also featured in ICOʼs August Alumni E-Newsletter for this accomplishment.
On 9/9/2011, they are honoring her father, Dr. Robert Johnson, with
the lifetime
service award at ICO's homecoming weekend gala. |
